I seem to get them fairly often. And I get them EVERYTIME I try and print!

Anyone know what usually causes them??

TIA

(Probably not the right forum for this, but I didn't see one that dealt with IE!! ;) )

BTW: This is in 98SE...

What version of IE are you running?

I have a lot of different versions of IE on my various test boxes, and older versions of IE tend to have trouble with "current" sites that use Javascript that is targeted at very recent browsers.

Microsoft's own Windows Update site won't load in IE4 anymore...

errors in the scripts that are coded into the web page. web site developers make up a very large percentage of the worst coders in the world. IE is on the most part very forgiving

Funny, I was having the same problem on (my kid's) ME side of my dual boot system. I'd get a couple of script errors in IE6 everytime I passed through a Yahoo page. I'm not sure what started it. I thought it might have something to do with the ad blocking I had enabled in Norton Internet Security. But before I could check it out (okay I procrastinated for a few weeks), the kids did something that caused it to disappear (the only obvious thing they did was load a new windows theme). Anyway, I don't think it's really a website error; I suspect it might have been an outdated plug-in. Good luck.

huMMM well I AM running norton internet security....... I'll bet that IS whats causing it.

Funny that it would effect printing as well though.

EDIT : I'm running the newest IE (6 I believe)
