What causes screen door?

Do you mean the rainbowy effect of DLP?

Screen door is simply caused by bigger dot pitches AFAIK. It could be because of what's between said pixels as well. It's like you're seeing the whole array of pixels instead of seeing the picture.

well, theres the rainbowy effect that some dlp's have, and lcd projectors have a screen door effect.

i didnt google what i was lookin for before i posted here, and since then, i have. sorry for wastin your guys' time.
