blood vessels/viens/capilaries inside your nose are close to the surface

sometimes dry/low humidity can cause them to pop, but since it is summer, that probably isn't it

if you are in/out of air conditioned spaces a lot, i guess the change good contribute

you might want to keep your finger out of there ;)

I think some people are just sensitive. If you're tired, stressed people get random nose bleeds as well..

but if you do stick your finger up there.. play at your own risk.

My wife gets random massive nosebleeds quite frequently. The doctor says they are random and there is nothing she can do. The lining of her nose is just too thin and it ruptures for no reason at all.

A deviated septum can be the cause. Is one of your nostrils more spaced out than the other?

Where are you?

I do know that people who are susceptible to nose bleeds do bleed more in warmer days.. but no I have no scientific evidence or any of my own theory to support this ;)
