Something's wrong with Outlook 2003, when clicking the paperclip icon to attach a file. The Insert File window pops up over the email as it should but when I click the little down-arrow next to the drop-down menu to select the drive/folder where the file is located, the window freezes for anywhere between 15 seconds and 45 seconds. Then it responds and I can start moving through the folders to find the file. Sometimes though it will again freeze for several seconds at a time.
Is there some sort of file indexing it is performing everytime I open that window, and if so is there a way to either turn it off, or have it store a cache so it doesn't do this EVERY time I want to attach a file to an email?
Thanks.
