Hey guys I have a delta 52x cdrom drive that was working fine two days ago and I booted my comp up yesterday and the bios did not recognize the drive was attached. I have changed cablse, flashed to the latest mobo bios. Not really sure what to do next if I can fix it. Is their anyway to flash firmware on these drives?? Thanks in advance for any help

Well, it depends on the drive - but if your bios can't see the drive, there's no way to flash it, either.

Do make sure that pin one is lined up all along the cable, and that the Slave/Master jumper is in the right position. And that the power is plugs in.

If all that is there, and yet it's still not getting detected, chances are your drive has died.
