No it doesn't. What happens when 3D Mark says it "lost focus" was that some other program or window took control of the system resources. It shouldn't be related to overclocking. Basically, turn off any antivirus program, and make sure to exit from all programs that are running in your taskbar next to the clock before starting 3DMark. This will ensure the program has no interruptions. Also make sure Windows task scheduler and automatic update are turned off. Then 3DMark should have complete "focus" over Windows and your tests should be successful.
