I am a newbie and looking for a good case & power supply to build an AMD Thunderbird 1.4 GHz. I have heard many brands already, but what are good for 1.4 GHz? I was thinking to buy an Antec SX635, but have just found the power supply is not AMD approved. :(

So what cases are good for 1.4 Ghz? Could you give me some suggestions?

Thanks,

For power supplies try this link. It may help you decide on recommended power supplies. As for cases, Antec makes nice cases to some degree IMHO. The Antec 1030 seems to be pretty popular on these boards. If you have some extra cash you could buy a Lian-Li case which are aluminum. The Chenbro Junior or Genie are real nice as well. Lastly, Addtronics cases are pretty darn nifty too. Here are a few top of the line resellers that you can buy cases and power supplies from:

Inflow Direct
coolcases.com
Directron
newegg.com

Note: You can buy just a case and then buy the power supply separate though it would cost you a few bucks more. Enermax power supplies are known as one of the best around. Good Luck! :)
