Correction: you just need to get laid so you can finally shutup about it, and maybe learn to read before posting.

my 6600GT played HL2 and CSS at 1280x1024, everything cranked at above 40-50fps. (perfectly happy with it)

7600GT should be able to play it at least 60fps with the above specs and probably at a higher resolution too. if not, a 7900GS/7900GT/7900GTO/7950GT or an ati equivalent would be good for "future" gaming.
