Ok, so i've been having this system for 2 years now. Its a celeron 2.8 Ghz Machine, 48x CD-burner, 512 MB Ram (2 x 256MB), 80 Gig 5400 + 160 gig 7200 Harddrives.
It also has an Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics controller with 64 MB max graphics memory. I dont know the name of the motherboard.
Basically, i'm looking for an under 30 graphics card (new or used) that will let me play UT2004 (my fav game), counter strike, half life 2, NFS Underground, NBA 2005, stuff like that.
Is it possible? THe current graphics card lets me play Halo, NFS 3 and stuff like that. Half life 2 played with the minimum settings, but lagged REALLY bad. It was dead slow! Same with UT2004. It looked like it ran in 5 fps.
