What card is right above a 5770?

I'd like to upgrade my fathers 5770 to the card right above it. What would that be?

Something like this:

5770 < 460 SE < 6790 < 460 768mb < 460 1gb < 6850

If you really want noticable increase, your best bet is 460 1gb or 6850.

Strange question. Numerically the 5830 is right above 5770, but you really don't want to replace a 5770 with 5830.

performance wise? I think it is the 5830 then the 6790, 6850 ect ect ect.

If you are a gamer, Get 460 1GB or ATI 5850 ... Didnt see what CPU you had but if its recent Im sure it will not bottleneck. thx gg and let us know. If you needs steps let me know... thx gl,

What computer does your dad have now. Id do 460 1GB and call it a day. Its such good priced, you can go to Fry's or MicroCenter and it will have a rebate too.
