What card is closest performance-wise to an old X1950GT/Pro?

Just curious. Would a 4550 be comparable? 4670?

Edit: Found http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/...uality/3DMark06-v1.1.0-3DMark-Score,1829.html
According to that, X1950 XT CF is a little faster than a 4670.

So this is a 1950GT, which is slower than a Pro, which is slower than an XT. And that's CF, I only have one card.

So an X1950GT is less than half as fast as a 4670.

So what's the cheapest 4670 out there?

Huh. This http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/...8-q1/3DMark06-v1.0.2-HDR-SM3.0-Score,538.html shows the X1950GT to be a little faster than an 8600GT.

Newegg no longer has 8600GTs, but Google shopping shows them available for $40.

A HD4550 would most definitely be inferior to a X1950GT. It's just a higher clocked HD4350 (same 80 shaders).

My bet would be a HD5570, maybe even a GT220 as similar to a X1950GT.

Thanks for the responses!

It was a good card to be sure. I didn't actually even game on it. Just desktop usage. Too bad it didn't have UVD/UVD2. Kind of useless today.

A buddy is going to put it on ebay for me.

I had both an x1900xt and a 4670. They are very comparable (and both just behind a 3850). The x1950gt would be quite a bit slower than a 4670, and thus slower than a 5570, which is similar to a 4670. I'm guessing it would provide 4650-level performance. Not sure about the nVidia side - whatever's equivalent to a 4650.
