Plus, you get to ride around with that "My c0ck is bigger than yours" smile when you pull up next to the pansies, like JDrake, in their Ford Excursions. :sun:

:thumbsup::laugh:

You MUST be joking. Do that and you'll end up looking like the other crushed soda cans when he runs your dinky ass over.
Right, due entirely to penis-size envy. Poor JDrake and his tiny rl-peen. :(

i owned the first generation miata, and that was a pure roadster/sports car. short throw 5 speed with power to the rear wheels how can you go wrong. it was light and tossable and low to the ground, on the fun to drive scale, it was a 10. those that say its a gay car probably never even driven one. i believe the redline on that was just short of 8000rpm, and i love to redline the car and you feel a real punch after the tack hits 4000-8000rpm. oh i miss that car.

Well, you could give it a mid-mounted engine, a bit less curvy styling, and call it a Toyota MR2;)

I've driven a mini but not a miata and I have to say I love the interior gadgetry and space of the Mini...oh and the handling is AMAZING. This thing grips the road like few other cars...first other car I come to think of is the M3 I test drove that same week...

Honestly I love the mini, but because I'm 6'1'' i feel like it'd be awkward for people to see me driving one. If you're a big or tall guy dont get a tiny car!

Anyone who confuses cars with sexual orientation has issues..

Never drove a Miata, but the Mini is a blast to drive, handles like a go-kart.

of the 2, i'd buy a mini cooper. higher resale value, and no soft top to worry about.

if i can spend some money, the MkV GTI
if i have some money, i'd buy a mazda3 2.3 5 door
if i'm strapped, i'd buy a focus hatch

if you can't get the NEW miata...id wait...im a huge miata fan, the cars are AMAZING, and people who think they're gay have never really DRIVEN one...they are amazing machines, make great track cars, and are such fun daily's.

anyways - the new miata is....well, so much better than the 1st and 2nd gen miatas. So if its an 06+ miata, vs a mini cooper, go miata...otherwise i dunno, the old ones i love and their styling is great, but the car just lacks...a lot.

You'd be surprised, a 6 speed Mini still has some "oomph" to go from and handles very well.

Too bad I won't die in a fender bender with my Expedition, o and the ladies like it

That's exactly the attitude I'm talking about. Thanks for providing an example.

I really like small cars and wants something thats easy to maintain, but fun to drive.

neither... or turn in your man card... instead of miata look at the Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice... at least they have more power and a more manley look and feel to them..

aftermarket supercharger FTW :D don't need too much as to keep the balance close to stock and well, the car is light as hell.

And both of those are slower than a Cooper S or Miata.

On the bright side, with a Solstice or Sky your driveway and garage will smell like differential fluid because their rear axles leak like a coffee filter.
