What car should HaVoC get? (new or used)

If I had $25,000 to spend on a new car, there would be no doubt, I'd be down at my chevy dealer in about 10 seconds and order a brand new Z28 Camaro. You say bang for the buck? It doesn't get any better than the Z28.

Can you spell.. 13 seconds in the quarter mile???

or.. you say "luxury car". yet powerful. can't get a new Vette with 25k, but you can probably find a used C5 Corvette for that. luxury and even more power than the Z28 Camaro, (same engine, but lighter and slightly more tuned).

HaVoC, do you want/need any of the following criteria:

1) 4 door
2) cabin room/leg room
3) automatic/stick
4) big/small car
5) fuel economy
6) Back seat size
7) trunk size

All of the things you want in your initial post can be found in about any size/style of car. What I list are the basics that you must determine, and from there you can figure out what what specific model you want.

For $25K you can get some serious cars in the used market.

For the sports car side you can get the Nissan "Z" cars, Mazda RX-7s, Jaguar XJS (there is a 91 XJS V12 for sale in my town for $17K), BMW 8-series, C4 Corvette, etc...

For the sedan market you can get the BMW 7-series. Early 90's BMW 750iL's go for about $15K-18K or so.

I would spend that 25K on a kick ass gaming rig! It would be more then a kick ass gaming rig it would be the best gaming rig in the world!

lupin while those cars are sweet, they are too expensive for cars with such high mileage. I don't wanna be replacing parts every other month. Maybe not every other month, but I certainly prefer low mileage. M3s are too expensive, then.

I'm 5'7&quot; with short legs so most any car will fit me as the driver. But I want some decent rear leg room if it is a 4-door. Easier to keep friends happy that way.

I think I'll take the plunge and drive stick. Then the car must be a sporty car that's fun to drive with a manual.

small to medium size car. But not TOO small. I really want to go see how the WRX is.
