2008 Forester XS (boring slowmobile) with 125K miles and a brand new head gasket. <-- my DD
2010 Ford Edge (boring quickmobile) with 80K miles. <-- woman's grocery getter

I'm doing the family thing, but trying to be frugal about it.

Silver 2009 F150 STX - 32k miles
Black 2011 Toyota 4Runner SR5 - 57k miles - Daily Driver
Silver 2016 Honda Odyssey SE - 12k miles

I drive probably the oldest car here. Black 2000 Acura 3.2 TL. Creeping up on 170,000 miles. Have had it for 5 years or so. Only a couple minor issues plus routine maintenance. It still looks contemporary enough to be ok. I see a lot of these cars on the road, they just keep on ticking.
You missed my twenty-five year old Miata? It's older than a 2000 Acura 😉
Just about to hit 180k.

05 dakota, and I have one of these in the garage...

Always meant to get it going again, but probably never will
Always wanted a vw thing, my first car was a 72 vw bug, friend of mine has a very nicely restore early 70's vw campervan

2005 Acura TL

Been looking at new cars for a while but haven't pulled the trigger on anything. Was tempted to buy a new Lexus RC350 F-Sport last year but was thinking, if I was going to spend that much on a Lexus, why not 10k more for a Maserati.

'15 Jeep Renegade. I like the car, but my unit is a lemon. Replacing it later this year, but haven't decided what to get yet.

2015 Cadillac Escalade Platinum (was wife's until a month ago)
2018 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite (wife had to have a minivan)

Other vehicles on rotation ...

Your problem is that an '05 TL has at least ten years of solid life left in it. Should have bought a Grand Prix or something, then you'd be ready to replace, like, yesterday.

2011 Ford Ranger. Bought new, has around 53k on it now. Really want to buy something else but simply can't justify either a fun car or a more economical car 🙁

Yeah, I'm still driving my '05 and the only issue is the battery. I thought my car had major issues last year but it was fixed, but at that time I started new car shopping so had the itch. I will probably keep driving the '05 TL until it dies. The new Acuras feel worse than my '05 TL, the only thing about my current car is the technology is very obsolete.

My housemate also likes her '08 TSX better than the new TLXes, feel and handling-wise. She's thinking ES300 for an eventual replacement, but we're trying to spruce up her TSX a bit so the urge is lessened. (new wheels, a bit of paint work to fix paint chipping, etc.)

AFAIC, VW quit making cars when they went to waterpumpers. I've had a a couple camper buses, a beetle, and the thing. If I were offered any car I wanted, price no object, a 21 window deluxe bus would be a top contender. That kind of offer would keep me awake for a week. It would be that, or a Willys wagon.

2001 Toyota Tundra 4.7 w/200K on it. Never seen the inside of a garage except occasionally at the workplace. Roof paint is starting to show the primer underneath. Clearcoat been coming off for past 5-7 years.

2011 Chrysler 300C. Bought in 2012 with 8100 miles on it. Paid cash 28k for it. Still going strong, and love it.

Prior to that I had a dodge Intrepid bought in 1995 that I drove until I bought the 300c. I maintain my cars pretty well, so I expect at least the same length of time, if not more on the 300C, since it's a much better quality vehicle.

Gen1 or Gen2 XF and how do you like it?
Looking at a supercharged Gen1 XF as a possible replacement for the LS (uses the same DEW-98 platform).
Gen2 moved away from that though.

Replaced the factory exhaust tips. They were a little on the small side and did not fill in the bumper cutouts as nicely.

not sure on generation. it's a 2015 supercharged v6. I like the car, but have had a lot of stupid headaches with it that are not normal. things like gas tank not being properly aligned so when you fill up it constantly tripped the full valve cutoff. obvious signs of shitty quality control.

I like the car, but the new ones are now priced too expensive. An XF-S is now same price range as cars that I think are sportier/higher quality. I like the styling, but will soon be test driving the M550i, the Audi S6, and the Mercedes E43.

yea my 2004 camry with 300K on it has the same issue with the clear coat. looks like a skin peel after a sunburn.

2004 Alero. Nothing fancy, but gets me where I need to go. Actually it's been a pretty good car, other than spending a few grand on it for stuff that you'd expect to have to replace (shocks, brakes etc) I have not had any major issues with it. I can't justify the cost of a new car so I always buy used.

Me 2015 WRX in Rally Blue with 6 speed
Wife 2010 Toyota Corolla

We are both earn 6 figures but have an upper limit as to how much we will spend on a car

When looking for a new car last year the only thing i knew is i did not want a direct injection engine. So that narrowed the choices. Got a 2016 Honda Civic EX-HS in Modern Steel Metallic.
Also have a 2017 Yamaha FZ07 motorcycle and a 2014 Yamaha BWs125 scooter.
