You missed my twenty-five year old Miata? It's older than a 2000 AcuraI drive probably the oldest car here. Black 2000 Acura 3.2 TL. Creeping up on 170,000 miles. Have had it for 5 years or so. Only a couple minor issues plus routine maintenance. It still looks contemporary enough to be ok. I see a lot of these cars on the road, they just keep on ticking.
Always wanted a vw thing, my first car was a 72 vw bug, friend of mine has a very nicely restore early 70's vw campervan05 dakota, and I have one of these in the garage...
Always meant to get it going again, but probably never will
2005 Acura TL
Been looking at new cars for a while but haven't pulled the trigger on anything. Was tempted to buy a new Lexus RC350 F-Sport last year but was thinking, if I was going to spend that much on a Lexus, why not 10k more for a Maserati.
Your problem is that an '05 TL has at least ten years of solid life left in it. Should have bought a Grand Prix or something, then you'd be ready to replace, like, yesterday.
My housemate also likes her '08 TSX better than the new TLXes, feel and handling-wise. She's thinking ES300 for an eventual replacement, but we're trying to spruce up her TSX a bit so the urge is lessened. (new wheels, a bit of paint work to fix paint chipping, etc.)Yeah, I'm still driving my '05 and the only issue is the battery. I thought my car had major issues last year but it was fixed, but at that time I started new car shopping so had the itch. I will probably keep driving the '05 TL until it dies. The new Acuras feel worse than my '05 TL, the only thing about my current car is the technology is very obsolete.
AFAIC, VW quit making cars when they went to waterpumpers. I've had a a couple camper buses, a beetle, and the thing. If I were offered any car I wanted, price no object, a 21 window deluxe bus would be a top contender. That kind of offer would keep me awake for a week. It would be that, or a Willys wagon.Always wanted a vw thing, my first car was a 72 vw bug, friend of mine has a very nicely restore early 70's vw campervan
Gen1 or Gen2 XF and how do you like it?
Looking at a supercharged Gen1 XF as a possible replacement for the LS (uses the same DEW-98 platform).
Gen2 moved away from that though.
Replaced the factory exhaust tips. They were a little on the small side and did not fill in the bumper cutouts as nicely.
2001 Toyota Tundra 4.7 w/200K on it. Never seen the inside of a garage except occasionally at the workplace. Roof paint is starting to show the primer underneath. Clearcoat been coming off for past 5-7 years.
