Title says it all. I have about 3k to spend for a new car. Can I snag a 93-95 accord for that price? I dont really want a civic because they are somewhat small. The current car I have right now is a 90 camry which IMO is pretty comfy. My needs are something that wont break down, and preferably not domestic. Mostly something to get around in that will last me a couple years. Some mechanical work isnt a problem. Any other ideas?

someone suggested that i can get a late model car that has been in an accident and pay to do the body work on it. What are your opinions on that?

I thought you wanted LOW maintainance. Unless you know what you're doing, that ain't a low maintainance way to go.

Look for a reliable model which doesn't hold it's value (this means no Honda/Toyota).

Try a Geo/Chevy Prizm or Mazda Protege.

What's your zip code?

If you want an accord, the 90-93 gen is nice. While I own one, I won't give my comments on it, but some friends have told me they like the style of it more than their newer accords!

Mah, Geo = death on wheels.

IIRC, the Prizm is largely based on the Corolla... correct me if I'm wrong; I won't even have a learner's permit until 2006, so I probably know next to nothing about cars.

Its 10466. As for the 90-93 accords, they just dont appeal to me as much as the 94-96 ones do.
