What Can You Do In Flash that You can't do in SwisH?

Swish is cheaper and it seems to do everything a lot easier. What can you do in flash that you can't do in swish?

no its not, you can do other things...

but flash can do EVERYTHING, there are things swish cant do, havent used it in a while

If you think Flash is just a push button application, you need to do some reading. The real power, like someone mentioned, is in Actionscripting. Amazing stuff.


Swish is trash for people who are too lazy to learn Flash. You know what? You can pick out a swish animation anywhere, no matter how subtle the effects are.. sucky.

Believe it or not but even this thing uses some actionscript. Viper GTS must be sick of this by now.

The only comparison I can think of is WordPad to MS Word.

That's the dif between Swish and Flash.

It's more dramatic than that.

Swish = Notepad (the win9x version that can't open files greater than 64KB 😉)
Flash = MS Word XP

Really, its the other way around.

Swish is the bloatware that doesn't require skill/knowledge to use..

Flash is the minimalistic original that requires skill (like coding in notepad).

Note: Swish requires the flash engine.
