What can take off white-out?

At one time I wrote on my computer case in white-out and now I'm going to give it to someone else and need to take it off. Is there something that will take it off easily without resorting to scratching it?

Thanks.

Just about anything that takes off dried white-out dissolves plastic. Heck, the solvent in white-out may have etched the plastic already.

Forget it if it's on plastic parts. You can use lacquer thinner or goof off on metal parts though.
