what can I use to rip a cd as 1 file?

I have audio cd that apparently has a diffenert file whenever the speaker changes.
I'd like to rip it as 1 mp3 or ogg file.
any ideas

I've tried itunes, meedio, and cdex.

Maybe you can find a free program to join the mp3s. There's plenty of programs that do this, but I'm not sure if there are free ones.

CDex will allow you to make one big mp3.

I have cdex but don't see a way of doing can you show me how?

According to the FAQ on the web site:


'What you can do is to to select several tracks, and hit the partial track copy, with this option you can select a range which is ripped/encoded into one big file.'
