What can I use for DVD viewing

My trial version of powerdvd (an old version at that, maybe 6.0) is over and the contrast and sharpness are not even close to powerdvd when playing movies.

I cant imagine Id have to pay for a program in order to get a decent quality picture on a computer.

I just bought the visiontek 4850 and of course it came with no useful software...

MPC-HC :thumbsup: There's also a x64 version! :)

WMP with correct ffdshow looks nice too. and I'm sorry, but VLC had the crappiest looking movies I have ever seen. Period. I could literally see color dithering and artifacting and screen tearing in it.

I had 3 windows open, next to each other. MPC-HC was best, WMP was slightly behind and VLC was... well... 1990? :p
