I have nothing but good things to say about win2k.
I have much better performance in 3d games like Q3 and UT in win2k then I ever had in 98.
WinME is just a joke and should not even be considered.

Ive completely ditched 98 and Im all 2k now.
Have no had a problem with any program or piece of hardware so far.
USB kinda sucks in 2k, because of the slow reenumeration speed.
But, USB isnt very useful regardless.
😉

HAHA, you used the wrong cd 🙂 happens to the best of us 🙂

Hitman doesn't run in 2k i don't think.. but that's only from one person's testimony. dvd quality won't suffer in win2k, gaming is pretty much the only concern (or really really old proggies... ie, i don't think doom works.. or does it?)

and what's the hassle w/ installing two OS's? it's just a LITTLE more work 🙂 Install winME, install games, thats it. install win2k, have it do it's dual boot junks, and boom, a perfect dual boot system. i actually have two win2k installs 🙂 hehe, don't ask.

btw, MAME does work, and alice does too. check your drivers.

It's not true lnguyen. Hitman DOES run in win2k. So does every new game/app as well. At least the ones that are any good!
