what can i expect OC'ing an Intel Celeron D 331 on an MSI 915P Combo motherboard

whats the deal with this lock i've read about, and the fact that you can get around it by floating the PCI express bus?

does the lock kick in after you reach a 10% overclock of the current chip, or 10% higher than an 800mhz FSB overclock?

pelase help.

other specs are a 160GB IDE hard drive (no SATA speed problems to deal with), 2 gigabytes of kingston Value RAM (1 x 2GB stick), and a radeon X1650 pro.

Celeron D's run at 2.66 ghz. i'm just looking to get 3.0-3.2 ghz. its running on the stock cooler.

I know its older hardware, this is my second sisters rig, she only does internet surfing, and COD4 low quality on very odd occassion.
