What can I expect from a Crucial M4 128GB SSD connected at 3 Gbps

I finally got an SSD that I can afford. I noticed that the Crucial M4 has 6.0 Gbps capability. I only have motherboards that have 3.0 Gbps support.

So I guess I am just wondering if I am still going to get a lot of value from it even though I don't have a motherboard that supports 6.0 Gbps. Just want to make sure I am not wasting my money and that I am still going to get a lot of bang out of this drive. I guess this SSD is also future proof, but I don't expect to upgrade my mobo any time soon and I don't know how long these SSDs last.

Expectations = to want to sex0r ur SSD regardless of SATA 3g/6g connection.

The most noticeable aspect of SSD is two to three orders magnitude decrease in average access time and a higher sustained transfer rate with random data than your HDD can achieve with linear data. Neither of those will be affected by a 300 MB/sec ceiling from SATA 3g.
