What can I expect at a rave party scene now?

Alright, I'll admit it...I've never been to one and this will be my first time. Some dude at work is doing this gig sometime in May and he invited me. I recently got de-hitched involuntarily and will now go out and try to have some fun.

What can I expect? Girls, girls, girls...?? 😀

Vicks VapoRub and surgical masks. 🙂 I've read too much Time Magazine.

I'd just expect to have fun - that's about it.

Any of the following:

1.) Good music if you like techno, trance, jungle, happy hardcore etc
2.) Big pants
3.) Kandy Kids
4.) People asking other people that look like they are in the scene for E
5.) More E
6.) Girls
7.) People that can dance
8.) People that can dance but have no rhythm
9.) Break-dancers (not bboys Dezign 😛)
10.) Older people usually guys that used to be in the scene but now stick out like a sore thumb
11.) Like someone said earlier surgical masks, baby nipples (or whatever its called that babies suck on.. baby suckers?)

Anyone have anything else to add? Thats all I can think of.

I'm always suspicious of those guys. Either they're freaks, or they're undercover cops. Either way, i stay away from them.

lots of glow sticks, liquid dance, rave style dancing, glow sticks on string being whirled around while circles form around them. Excellent DJ's creating mixes on the spot, lasers, projected images, smoke, people danceing in close quarters. To really enjoy it, stand as close to the CJ stage as possible and just let the music flow through you. Pretty soon, you'll lose track of time and just enjoy the trance you're in. No drugs required. Also, ravers are usually nicer than normal people, and are willing to show you how to twirl and stuff. Oh, and the girls are nice 🙂

What exactly do you mean by that? Are you one of those people?

Btw zmatrix how was it?

Bring some bottled water and sell it to the first dehydrated person you see for $20. Nobody seems to realize that you need to drink at least 10 gallons of water to stay hydrated while on 3. (1337 E)
