So my GF's dad brought in a bunch of old laptop all with Windows 2000 NT but they are password protected and such. I know that he has the password for one but the two other he doesn't. I have the 2000NT CD and I tried to boot from it to reformat but it won't boot. What can I do?

google a bootable formatting program. im sure there are a lot of them. just boot to the cd, and format, then install win2000.

Buy a laptop hard drive connector for $5, connect the hard drives to a regular PC as your C drive, boot from CD that way.
