ive got this rather poor attempt at a computer lying around in my room at the minute, i have no idea what i should do with it, or even if its worth selling

front
innards
KT3 Ultra 2
rear
GF3 TI200
VIA southbridge
generic ram
north bridge cooler
no floppy!
above

i was thinking of upgrading it a little, some more cheapo ram, sell both HDD and get a single big one, remove the air duct and that orange fan and replace with a quiet fan, re-apply HSF with arctic silver. get an active cooler for the GPU and a new case with a decent power supply. like this ASUS midi tower

Specs
*XP2000 (palomino)
*512 PC2100
*MSI KT3 Ultra 2 (VIA KT333 chipset)
*Unbranded PSU
*GF3 Ti200 from a Dell
*2x40Gb HDD
*liteon DVD-RW that doesnt like CD's
*samsung CD-RW coz the Liteon doesnt like CD's

Also look into posting a flyer up at your local college. Tons of students need a cheap machine, test systems, etc. The key is to sell the system locally. Don't post on eb*y and ship it anywhere, you wont get enough for your troubles.

That's a pretty powerful machine, personally I'd use it as a MAME box if your video card has S-video out. Get a wireless keyboard and a couple wireless gamepads like the Saitek P3000s.
