What Can I do (transfer)--video

Hello guys !

I'm sorry for been so stupid about those thing ( video's, transfer, copy and thing like that ! but well allways the help is there.

so, I have some VHS tapes, and of course I want to transfer those tapes into my Home Computer (PC).
I have been reading some topic very helpful, but I would like to read just one that help me at 100% !
Well, You see! I have the VHS tapes, Home Computer (PC) but I don't have the TV tuner !.
as far as I know I need a Tuner card, that will do the transfer job! I guess.

Okay I would like to know What kind of TV tuner do I need ? ( the best for that )
What is the right hardware to convert VHS to MPGE or AVI
How to connect my VCR or camcorder to my PC ?
What cable do I need ?

My goal is to have those VHS tapes clip in my PC ( saved )

Please please please please PLEASE use the search function. This gets asked about every three days, and has been answered repeatedly. In great detail.

You will need a tuner card; there are many to choose from. If you have a digital camcorder that uses DV, you can use a Firewire card (or onboard firewire if your motherboard has it) to grab the digital video off of it. Then you will need software to edit the video and/or re-encode it and/or burn it onto DVD (if desired).
