What can I do (Under 100$ preferrably) To make games run smoother (most of my fps games are about 12 fps) Any help is appreciated!

What exactly do you want to be able to do with the computer? There's really not much that you can upgrade on that system.

You could get a SLIGHTLY faster CPU but it's probably not worth the cost.

You already have the maximum RAM that XP can handle.

You don't need more disk space (nearly a terabyte of free space).

You could potentially get a faster video card, but that CPU will limit anything noticeably faster than your 8400 gs.

If you are wanting to spend money to upgrade, you can buy a new system with a dramatically faster CPU and a much better video card for about the same cost as the possible upgrades to your existing computer (that really wouldn't much of a difference anyway).

Alright thanks for the help and thats what I was thinking, I was thinking of keeping the mobo and finding a compatable cpu that would work, but the mobo is so old, nothing worthwhile would be compatable :T I find myself stuck in a hole......
