what can I do about this? (credit card charge)

skim milk

I placed an order for an item but after I read their disclaimer I emailed them to cancel the order.
Today I got an email that the item is being shipped WTF!

Their disclaimer says that all sales are final and no returns/exchanges... plus the item that I orders which I thought was real, is fake.

Can I dispute the charge on my credit card?
I called my credit card company (american express) and they said I have to wait until the next billing cycle

when the item arrives, can I just not accept it and have the carrier take it back?

what is the best method to go?

the number may show up in your credit card statement, look at your online bill.
definitely dispute it with yuor CC company, rejecting the package isn't too bad an idea.

I already told my sister about the bags being fake... so she REALLY doesnt want it now. I want to cancel the whole transaction

Ask your CC company for a dispute, and return the item unopened.

so wait til the next billing cycle then dispute?
should i return the item as soon as i get it?

reject shipment.
wait until your next billing statement.
dispute it.

(going thru similar thing with amex and some unknown charges on my card.)

well, i know that amazon encourages denying the package on delivery if all fails in trying to cancel an order...

just hope that its not one of those sh1tty carriers that just drop the package on your doorstep 😀

Call the CC company and cancel that card. Have them issue you a new one. CC thieves place small charges on cards to see if they are still valid. If the small charge goes through, then off they go. Giving the number to their friends or posting it on the 'net for others to use when they feel they've wrung it out

Your CC company should be fully cooperative with this.

Contact FedEx and inform them that you are rejecting delivery of the item. Tell them to send it back to the shipper. Then dispute with your CC if it shows up on your bill each month.
