What can be wrong? What should I do?

I installed windows, all the drivers, all his programs, shut it down, and go to bed at 3 in the morning.

Put it on this morning, tells me theres an error reading drive c, and to run a registry scanner.

So I booted up off a win98 cd and ran scanreg, it fixed the problem, it boots up now, but nothing is installed any more :disgust:

what the hell!

Hard drive problem?

What else could it be?

So did you connect the PC directly to the internet, without using even a router as a basic firewall?

If you're doing this kind of work, you should not allow customers to connect without a router.

its behind a router, and i did all the updates as soon as it got online

then installed all programs and stuff.

Why is there a new type of worm that "auto-installes" for win98 that I am not aware of?
