I have a friend and her roommate who are renting a rooms from this house complex, it's like an apartment where each have their own keys to the door, etc. Well just this morning, she was sleeping and was rudely awaken by loud banging by a guy pounding on the door demanding to open up the door. He was already in her living room and she was in her bedroom, luckily she locks her bedroom door too. No one let the guy inside the place, he apparently got the key from the landlord. I guess he was trying to show somebody the place but that doesn't sound right, he shouldnt' be able to walk just right without any notice. Of course my friend is very pissed off about this, what I want to know is what can be done now? File a police report? anything else? I think that the landlord should have given notice and have permission to enter at the very least. hope that makes sense
