what cable do i need for dvd-rom? (ATA 33 or 66/100?)

Any of those cables you mentioned will do. It does not matter what part they come with, no cables are really any better at transfering data than any others, except of course the ones rated for different speeds. Your motherboard should come with one. Once in a while the drive comes with one, but not usually.

A bare drive (OEM) won't come with any cables.

You should be able to use an ATA33 cable for it. No need to use the ATA66 ones since I doubt a DVD ROM is going to spit out anything over the limits of an ATA33 interface.
