I am using EZCD Creator 4.05. I had version 4.02 and it wouldn't work so I downloaded the patch to upgrade to 4.05 and it works like a charm.

Nero also works from what I have read.

<< Just drag your files on a blank cdr & you're burning in XP,it's built in.:) >>

almost. i also had to learn this on my own. but once you drag the files on your cdr, right click on the CD drive and select the tab that says something about write the files to the disk. if you dont do that, it wont write the data to the cdr.

You can install EZCD, but you have to uninstall the windows built in drivers first.

Why? because the drivers are from ROXIO, the makers of EZCD.

Don't ask me how because I haven't tried it. I just stumbled across that tidbit somewhere.

I didn't have to do this at all.

My EZCD install went good, just had to update it to the latest version.

If you upgrade to XP from Win98, some programs will not work after the upgrade (driver?s issues).

However after the upgrade Uninstall the specific program, and Reinstall it. The correct drivers will be loaded, and it will work.

Reason for it, after new installation, W2K drivers are loaded, seems that Win2K drivers are at times more compatible with XP.
