What browser do you use?

For some reason I never feel really content with the browser I'm using. I've been a long time user of firefox, but it's starting to seem like opera has something to offer.

What do you guys use most? And why?

What does Opera have to offer?

I remember reading about mouse gestures and some verbal commands or something. I really don't know though, that's kind of what I'm trying to figure out 🙂

IE7.. got converted from Firefox when I bought my laptop. I may give Firefox 2.0 a chance but I'm already used to IE and will probably just stick with it.

Firefox 2 now. Would use 1.5, since it's better IMO by default (I didn't like the way the tabs were in FF2.0), but you can thankfully reconfigure 2.0 to be like 1/1.5 was, although it's a hassle.

opera, because FF2.0 crashes like a bitch and is a memory hog. IE 7 when needing to access corporate sites

edit: one feature i REALLY miss from FF2.0 is the google box up at the top and how it guesses what you want to search for when you are typing. Don't mean to thread jack, but Is it possible to do that in opera?

Does FF use more memory than Opera?

I have never been able to get tabbed browsing in Opera to work like FF and Mozilla. If I could, I'd probably use Opera more often. I can't stand that when you close a tab it goes back to the previous tab you were viewing instead of the tab to the right.

yes

I use Opera 90% of the time.

And the current version is not 9.0, it is 9.1 since like two weeks ago and it was 9.0.2 before that.

Just switched from Opera to FF 2.0 for some of the extensions (my friend convinced me).

Do you like it?

I think I would just prefer whatever uses less resources.
