I had been using Firefox for quite awhile, but after my last internet issue, I traced the problem to Firefox and switched back to Safari. Been loving the speed, but miss my Google Browser Sync.

Nevertheless, I'm sticking with Safari / Safari Webkit for a little while...

Safari.

I hate Firefox, so I use Camino when I need Gecko.

Opera is installed for testing, but I never use it.

I use Firefox, but mostly because you can't have Safari open with multiple tabs as your homepage like you can in Safari.

Firefox. It helps me keep things consistent when I switch between Mac and PC which is daily on week days.

I use Safari and Camino. For some reason the scrolling in Firefox is really slow, and I can't stand it.

I use Firefox. I would use Safari, but there is no drop down menu to let you select from a list of previously visited sites. If Safari had that option, I would have no reason to use anything else.

Safari & Firefox. I bounce between them. Sometimes Safari gets pretty buggy (especially this new 3.1 version), and sometimes Firefox has issues. At any rate, I don't like using the Internet on a Mac as much as I do on a PC using Firefox :p

What about shirra - http://shiira.jp/en.php

I am really lost on what browser to use? I'm a FF user in Windows but theres something about it I don't like. Maybe its my Mac but it seems like sometimes it just displays pages like facebook wrong - liek no format, just text.

Safari seems ok, i like the features like how it shows your download status on the dock...
Shirra is awesome but seems impractical.

OMG IM BROWSER-LESS :(

Do you guys use Firefox in OS X because of extensions? Camino is Gecko and it looks great with no theme. Looks as much an OS X app as any Apple puts out.

I use firefox because of extensions and because I can set it up exactly like on my company issued Windows laptop. I like the AdBlock, NoScript, etc set up that I have and want to carry that over to whatever computer I use.

I use both Safari and Firefox 3 Beta 4. I wasn't a fan of Firefox and thinking of switching to Camino for last resort stuff but the new Firefox is awesome. Highly recommended.

i really am at a loss for which browser to use. there doesnt seem to be one that wins out over the other :(

I like Shiira, and some of the things that it does, but ultimately i like Safari the best. It integrates well with the OS, is not too visually busy, and is fast. Plus, once you get SafariAdblock and Inquisitor, you have a browser that is really great compared to Firefox. I know that firefox has like, 8 zillion addons, but really, most of them are, to use the vernacular, lame. A gmail notifier? Really? That will keep people with firefox? What ever happened to... i don't know... Mail? Or a weather thing? There are plenty of alternatives.

And, as I mentioned, adblock is no longer an excuse, since Safari Adblock is great. The only thing I can think of is how Safari and Firefox handle tabs differently (Safari treats every link opened as a new window, firefox, as a tab) and the fact that firefox can open multiple tabs upon starting (I have a script that works with safari that will do that, but I am not sure how to get it slipped into Safari, or at least make it launch safari and then get out of the dock)

What about page rendering? What does better? It seems like Safari and Camino both have problems with things like forms, the stuff on facebook (like drop down lists for naems in the search bar - you cant click them, have to use up down arrows), or things like CPanel (doesn't seem to work well with safari atleast)?
