what broke on the charger in the F&F?

I twent to fast to see what happened...my friends and I were trying to figure it out. No, im not baggin on the charger I just want to know. I thought it was a fuel line or something, but Vin Disel just kept on goin...

what I really meant was what broke on the civic superCHARGER? :|

it looked like the sparks came from around the exaust area just below the head/block line...btw does anyone remember if they saw spark plugs/wires??? if so then the engine that was shown was not a hemi engine
oh and by the way, it wasn't the fuel line, the fuel line on a charger is on the other side as is the fuel pump

Uhm, another question...

Vin Diesal in one of his speeches to the racing crowd sez something about 'double-clutching granny.' Now I thought double clutching was only used when going from a higher gear to a lower gear like 4 to 3. When the heck do you double clutch in a drag race? I can see it being done in the twisties, but in a drag race?
