Hi all - I have a small space with fabric pots for many of my plants. I've installed 4x irrigation valves and hooked them up to a Rachio controller - Now I need the "last mile" runs from the irrigation valves to the plants. Is there a system preferred over others, and does anyone have selected shops they source from?

I use https://www.irrigationking.com for everything. While I would prefer to source locally like @Greenman suggested I've found that for my needs local places don't have what I'm looking for.

My preferred brand is Perma-Loc for the fittings when using 1/2" Toro Blueline drip line but with out a little more info from you it's hard to give suggestions.

Awesome link. I was first overwhelmed by all their options but the "Learn" tab helps a good bit

Yeah they have so much stuff. For 1/4" barbed is fine. 1/2" and larger barbed and compression suck, and Perma-Loc is worth the cost. Also for 1/2" and larger tubing let it bake in the sun then roll out in a straight line like a wheel and it loses most of the curvature.

You can use the punch & cutter to put holes in 1/2" and larger then use 1/4" barbed fittings to run lines off the 1/2". Also you don't need anything larger than 1/2" unless you're doing a huge run.

okay this is good information. My plan was to use 2x 1/2" to run across the patio on 2x irrigation valves then have 1/4" brarbed runs off of the 1/2

If 1/2 barbed and compression suck - What connector would you choose for 1/2" ?

Perma-Loc fittings are a combination of the two and I've never had one fail unless the the water pressure is to high. I use a pressure regulator to bring the psi down to around 15-20.

It's not my best vid but here is one I uploaded to youtube a few years ago detailing the setup I use in my garden.
