BTW co0lbean,

I use to like "Butterball" turkeys until they started tasting like a chemical plant.

Jaindal turkeys. Locally grown, no hormones, chemicals, etc. Its also the brand that the White House buys its turkeys from...

Living in the midwest (Ohio) we have never gotten one of those shrink-wrapped turkeys from the supermarket, we always get them from a turkey farm nearby. (Midwest definition of "nearby": no more than 45 minutes away by back roads, no more than 30 min by highway.)

Last Thanksgiving we had a tofurkey. Even through I went into the meal thinking "this is going to be gross", it actually wasn't bad. It wasn't 100% turkey-like, but it was as close as we could get, and my and I got ot eat the same thing for Thanksgiving dinner, and that's a plus. :)
