I use Memorex ones. They used to come in blue. I had those. Now I'm using the yellow ones (higher capacity than the blue ones, I think).

It's hard to continue using the same kind of batteries when the colors keep changing.

Also, what battery chemistry are they? These are Ni-CD.

NiMH is better than NiCd. no/less memory effect and better for the environment (Cd is very toxic)

I don't know how credible wikipedia is on this but:

Standard NiMH batteries perform better with moderate drain devices such as digital cameras, flashlights, and other consumer electronics, but, because NiCd batteries have lower internal resistance, they still have the edge in very high current drain applications such as cordless power tools and RC cars.

So, wouldn't it depend on the usage?

I believe I have 8 Rayovacs AAs, 4 rayovac AAAs, 4 Energizer AAs, and my parents just bought another Sanyo 6 AA + 2 AAA.

I have 4 of the AAAs and 6 of the AAs on me right now.

6 of the AAs are in my AeroAce, and the other 4 AAAs are in my TI-89. I dont have rechargeables for Cs and Ds. I don't hav emuch that use those batteries, and if I do have any, I go through like 1 every 5 years, so Alkaline is just as worth it because I'm probably gonna lose my rechargeables after that long of a time...

I dont use rechargeables...

I only buy the high powered exploding Lithium ion batteries.

How were the Rayovacs? They are always much cheaper than duracel/energizer.
