What brand of RAM? Crucial vs Kingston

I was looking at Newegg and Googlegear for pc2700 DDR RAM and I am confused. For 163$, I can get 512 MB of PC2700 DDR333 RAM from Kingston, the exact same thing on Googlegear costs only 136$. I copied and pasted the model number from newegg to googlegear so i know its the same thing . . . why i newegg so much more expensive? The other thing that confuses me is that I was reading in the motherboard forum on Anandtech and they were saying something about Crucial memory being the best kind of memory one can get. but 512 MB of DDR 333 memory from Crucial at Newegg costs 207$ we're talkin about a 70$ difference here. . . How does that work?

Lately I've been buying most of my mobos, RAM and CPUs from Googlegear, and the rest of my parts from Newegg. Googlegear just seems to have better deals, with nearly free shipping on these items, and Newegg has better deals on the other stuff.

I've never had a problem with Kingston memory. But Crucial has a better reputation. If you're not going to be clocking that RAM way out of spec, I'd say just go for the Kingston.

I used both, not like a few megs here and there, i'm talking 30 gigs plus of memory. I order SD+DDR from crucial and all my rdram are kingston... I have no problem with both for the past 3 (crucial), 1.5 (kingston - didnt like rdram but mobo needed it). The machines these chips are in runs rc5 about 18/7 and are on 24/7 since then. Nothing failed here yet. I started looking into corsair ram for DDR because crucial didn't carry 1gb ddrs yet.. Corsair are a bit more but not sure about quality.. And I order my kingstons from googlegear too..
