how many threads on low profile/single slot cards are you going to have?

I have also complained about the lack of DVI-I in a couple threads (now including this one).

Have you explored the older/used Quadro/FirePro cards? There are many, many more options for single-slot and low-profile.

I just checked ebay and there is one extremely common Nvidia Quadro card called NVS-290 that typically costs $6 and $7 shipped ....but needs a DMS-59 cable (sold separately for $3 shipped).

In any event (as per the link below) it does support two DVI-I (via the DMS-59 cable):

http://www.nvidia.com/docs/IO/40049/quadro_nvs_290_datasheet.pdf

And according to the link below this card is supported in Windows 10:

http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3719/~/what-quadro-gpus-support-windows-10?

With that mentioned these cards I see on ebay are Dell branded or HP branded.....does anyone know if they are vendor locked? Or will they work in any PC?
