What bones have you broke? How'd you do it? Pics?

Tail bone, collar bone on left side, 4 ribs below collar bone, and a fracture of my left leg.

All happened at the same time in a truck accident. I was going 45mph and the other car (an Alaska State Trooper driving a Crown Vic) was going 55mph. I hit a patch of ice and slid into him. Of all the State troopers I talked to, they were all shocked that I wasn't dead how we impacted.

I was bed ridden for 3 months.

btw: the State trooper broke his big toe. 🙂

I cracked a bone in my wrist when i was in the 4th grade, my sister and her friend jumped on the tail of an 80's skateboard(with only one tail) i was on the other end, and i was launched in the air, and landed on my wrist.

Ya'll got nothing:

Shattered my leg in 8 places in a nasty skiing accident, dove off a cliff and hit a rock underwater, borke my face, had to have facial reconsturctive surgery, got my thumb cuaght between a jack and a car when changing a tire, had to have it put back on, ankle playing basketball, and minor things like fingers and stuff, but that doesn't really count. Its been awhile since i broke anything though, i'm sure my insurance co is thankful!

You win! Unless someone comes along with having their head severed and put back on.

Yeah! Oh my gosh, I... can't think of anything to say. That's simply incredible.

I once broke my tibia bone while going up for a dunk. I'm 5' 8" with a 36 inch vertical, so I can get pretty high up there. Some guy under-cut me while I was going up and the next thing penis I remember I was on the floor in the most massive amount of pain ever. Funny thing is, i didn't even feel the pain until I notice my leg was all mangled and my shin bent at a 90 degree angle. I spent a whole year recovering from that one.

WTF?

Are you trying to tell us something? 😛

Methinks he left the keyboard for a while.

None broken that I know of. Maybe a toe or thumb once, but never got x-rayed.

Y'know, I thought I'd never broken or cracked anything, but now that you mention it, I might have cracked my toe last year. I was running and I stubbed my toe on a pipe sticking out of the ground. Next thing I knew, I was looking at the ground. My toe hurt for a few weeks after that I couldn't run w/o it hurting for a while. *shrug* Maybe, maybe not. I never notice it anymore, though.

Lets see.. I had my right pinky finger crushed when I was a kid. I was lifting up a huge rock to look at the bugs underneath and when i tried to rest the rock against a nearby wall it slipped out of my hand and pinned my finger underneath.

When I was like 14 I got hit by a car while rollerblading and broke my collarbone

When I was 17 I got double-barreled by a mule and had 3 ribs broken. This was probbably one of the most painful experiences in my life.

Just recently I was really drunk at this week long house party. This guy showed up with a durango and wanted to jump a 4 foot tall bank on the side of the road across from this kids house, and when I got in I couldnt find the seatbelt. My head bounced off the roof of the truck and I busted my nose on the back of the passenger seat.

i think thats it?

I've broken 16 bones (I don't know their proper names)

Left arm and secondary bone: 2
Right arm and secondary bone: 2
Left Leg: 1
Right Foot: 5 toes, 4 bones inside
RIght hand: 2 fingers

I win!

I've also hyperextended my left knee so that I kicked my own stomach, torn open my left foot riding a bike, and been in the passenger side of a car that got hit in the driver's side by a loaded log truck doing 85 mph. No seatbelt (When I was 7).

I'm the luckiest guy I know.

I'm guessing over half of you that have posted in will be leaving a much shorter life than the average person. You are the people to the left of the bell curve of life expectancies.

I chipped off part of my ulna. (forearm bone) when I was 14.

I fell off a swing set as a kid and broke my left arm.

I broke several fingers during my basketball days.

Broke my left hand playing intramural football in college...

none officially....i did that by not being an idiot

but i might have broken a toe from barefoot soccer and a knuckle from 2 person weapon form in kung fu

but i never got them checked out sooooo 😛
