What board games do you guys play?

I'm looking to pick up some board games, anyone have any recommendations on board games? looking for ones that can be played with just 2 people and some that are good for a group... :thumbsup:

Risk rules all. Try to pick up one of the old versions on ebay with the wooden blocks instead of the modern figurines.

All those games can be played two players but need 3 to be really fun (except the settlers card game)

I definitely second this. Great game.

Also incredibly fun: Carcassonne. The really cool thing about it is that everyone helps build a big map one tile at a time, occasionally claiming multi-tile features for points. And if you have multiple copies of the game you can combine them to build really huge maps (my group plays with two sets and the river expansion).

This is by far the best for groups! It can't be played by 2 though.

Settlers is also a good game. I played it w/ my college roommate all the time. Once you get good at it, though, it's pretty much luck of the board.

Did you not trade? The focus of the game, once you're able to accurately weigh probabilities and resource values, is commerce and table politics. And that's a facet that never gets old (unless all your opponents simultaneously become inflexible misers or some such thing, but that's pretty unusual).

Masterpiece is a great game for 4 or 5 players. Get a vintage game because it has beautiful art pieces.

Citadels can be played by 2 people.

Power Grid an awesome game, too.
