I just ordered a new Inspiron, and I realized I have no clue if it's 32 or 64 bit Vista. The website does not specify, nor does my order invoice.

It doesn't really matter, but I'm curious.

Their website has both 64-bit and 32-bit drivers available for Vista; I guess you'll have to find out when you get the notebook unless there is someone here with a recently ordered E1705 that can chime in.

I think just about every OEM is shipping 32 bit today by default. Drivers are there only for those customers doing their own image.

Dell is NOT selling or supporting the 64 bit Vista on any of their systems, yet anyway.

I need to ammend this as they have recently started selling d=some of the business class notebooks with 64 bit Vista.
