"Most of you people just don't get it it seems...your kind of attitude "bomb, kill and destroy first, ask questions later" is what brought this terrorist act to the us in the first place"

What hand did the thousands of innocents kill in any of that? They did nothing. We didn't "bomb, kill and destroy first" they did.

"and unless you change your attitude and policies over the world there will be more to come for sure"

I agree, we have been far too lenient. I suspect that will no longer be the case. No more coddling countries as we mistakenly did with Iraq.

"You think this was bad? What if a terrorist organisation gets its hands on weapons of mass destruction, chemical biological or even nuclear, then millions not thousands could die...think it's not possible?"

Remember that the USA is a democracy. If such an extreme attack were to occur, the American people could elect the people to power who would use nuclear weapons to destroy the entire middle east. If a harsh enough attack is brought forth, the American people could put a psychopath of their own in power. I honestly hope that terrorists would have enough common sense to realize that if push came to shove, America has the capability of performing the most horrific acts ever seen. Obviously this is something no rational person wants to see, but this is a possibility if enough Americans are killed by any such attack. They need to remember that we are always holding back, holding nearly all of our available might back, despite their insane drivel.

"America needs to change its attitude of "policing" the world and doing whatever it pleases to other countries, that is the only way to end terrorism against it"

We didn't ask to police the world, the world asked us. We also don't do whatever we please to countries. Give an example of the last time we commited an unprovoked attack. None of this illogical multiple degrees of seperation BS, when is the last time the US of A has initiated an attack?

<< If, this is true, then It will be a full scale war. Also heard that the operations were financed by the Iraqi. That will be a full scale war too. >>

Full scale war ? You mean all 14 NATO Nations v.s Little Iraq and the Taliban

The USSR failed take-over in Afghanistan because of the geography of this country. Many of the major cities such as Kabul are surrounded by extreme rugged terrain/mountains. On the outerside of these mountains, guerillas/troops setup much anti-aircraft defenses. It was nearly impossible to penetrate with large forces. US will have to use air-strikes...but how will they know they have struck the right positions/killed the right people?

The US better seriously think things out before blasting in there all cocky. It could be another 1000 US troops dead before you know it. Bush would never let this happen obviously, so I think this is why it's safe to presume an invasion will not come very soon...they have to plan this out. Afghanistan is a crazy country and contains some very "unstable" people. Are they a nuclear nation? Pakistan?

<< I don't see the justification behind killing 200,000 Afghan civilians simply for the death of bin Laden, especially if those civilians don't even have any ideas what's really going on. >>

As long as bin Laden is alive he will be plotting attacks against the free world. He could easily try something else that can lead to thousands of fatalities. If he is dead that is a lot less we have to worry about. I say go for it.

Sooner or later Bin Laden will get ahold of a weapon of mass destruction...

He must be stopped, no matter the cost...

Even if it means 10,000 US dead, he HAS to be stopped now... Whatever it takes...

If not, in 5 or 10 years, it won't be an airplane in NYC, it will be a nuke, or other WMD...

Whatever it takes...

Someone remember to bring the popcorn...

Anybody thought of it this way...

All the children that were celebrating yesterday should be killed. All the people that taught them those beliefs should be killed. They have created an environment where hatred is taught and instilled in their brains. People are animals and can be infected by disease. Hatred is a disease that has infected these people. Just as a pack of dogs with sever rabies will be put under, so should these people.

However, this is also true in America. If you have Klan members raising their kids to hate Blacks AND to harm them or celebrate the harm done to them, they are infected and should be killed (or jailed).

Now, I'm not saying if you hate someone or something you should be killed. However, if you hate something enough to massively kill others, then you should be killed because you have an incurrable disease.

Just a thought...don't jump all over me because I'm not saying this is my personal philosophy, but an idea that was thrown out last night.

You people already condemning war are the reason we've reached this level of terror in this nation. After Desert Storm and during a Democratic Presidency, we took a stance of diplomacy to resolve problems time and again. Look where it's gotten us, nowhere. Think back to the Reagan administration. Terrorism was on the rise then too and what did we do? We bombed the hell out of their asses. We waged war against them on their own ground. We sent in counter-intelligence and infiltrated them sanctums. During those 8-12 years of Reagan/Bush, we saw a relative amount of peace follow. Now it is time again to awaken the slumbering giant that is America and fight back against this tyranny. Why is it that so many people can hate us, but we can't hate them back? Why can they kill us and we can't kill them back, but rather we have asked over the past decade that we simply "understand" their reasoning instead. The time has come to wage war for the greater good of humanity, regardless of the cost of life. War leads to peace, even if that peace comes at the price of innocent lives. Remember, we've already given innocent lives in the war that's been waged against us, it's time for them to give innocent lives. It's time for them to die for their cause. They believe in their God, we believe in ours and our God is not an all powerful being, our God is freedom. For without that freedom, your God would not exist to be worshipped openly. Time and again Americans have died for their freedom. I am willing to do it, the young man on the farm in Iowa is willing to do it, the stock broker who lost a friend yesterday is willing to do it. If you think for one second that war is not the answer to this problem, prepare to die for their cause, not ours, because they will kill you for theirs, they have already shown that much.

Has everyone forgotton the saying...

"Walk softly and carry a big stick"?

You'll get more done in 5 minutes with a stick than in 5 years of talking... Only catch is to make sure you've got the bigger stick...

Last time I checked, our stick was rather big, I suggest we use it...

These terrorists dont understand the language of diplomacy. The only thing that makes sense to them is violence and war, we need to fight them on those terms.
