Oh, I suppose a really really great Porsche, like a Carerra 911 in super great shape. I have never even stepped into a Porsche much less owned or driven one, but I just know that some are the chef's kiss.
I would give up both of my old M cars for a clean 964 Carrera 2. Too bad together they aren’t worth enough. Missed the boat on a $30k one a decade or so ago, that’s for sure.

A low budget item I'd love to have but will probably never exist is a throwline cube printed as a Borg cube. I'd pay twice as much as normal to have one made for me. What a throwline cube looks like...

Except a doll with all that stuff inside would weigh a ton and I like to carry my dolls :D
A workstation inside a case weighs maybe 30 pounds? How heavy of a doll do you like to carry around? :tearsofjoy:

Don't worry, I'm sure the Japanese are already solving this problem. It'll just take some time. Today's Beelink mini PCs are equivalent to a beast rig from 2015. The future is already looking lighter. I'll show myself out. :p

Terabytes of Optane drives would be heavy (they have metallic heatsinks) and Genoa CPU would have a large heatsink too. It could easily be 50 pounds. I'm not a bodybuilder. Petite is my thing. The really heavy thing in the doll would be the battery in her butt :D

The house project is underway so I'll skip that
1) 2023 Denali 1500 diesel
2)Biggest trailerable cabin cruiser/fishing rig.
3)a share in a spam can at the closest airport to the new place. A cessna 182 for example.
All that would be possible under the 200k lid.
I'd like to find a share in a plane around here. Crossing my fingers I can find the right arrangement soon for a 120kt+ plan as cheap as possible.

I really enjoy the late 60 early 70's 182 for a well rounded utility plane. ~1100 pounds useful load, 80 gallons/480 pounds fuel. you can leave some fuel out and haul 800 pounds @135kt/160mph for about 11~12 GPH quiet 6 cylinder continental, cruise @2300 RPM or less.
By yourself or with 2 it is fun enough.

600 hp in the M5 is crazy enough, but why would you want this power in a family SUV? Are you taking it to track days? :tearsofjoy:
If you're really lucky, a desirable M4 might still be valuable in say 20 years. OTOH I suspect that depreciation on the X5M is gonna be pretty nasty despite low sales, but I've never priced out M-badged land barges.
Come on, you know better than to ask such a question on a tech forum where everyone wants the best whatever they can afford but don't always max the potential. I'm a huge fan of the X5 design, first and foremost (hence the pics in sig). And the X5MC LCI also catches the eye after many years in between of "meh". They are toys for many people, plenty of forums and FB groups to follow along. As for depreciation, I still have my 08 (and previous car was a 95 SUV), so that tells you how much I care about reselling for value, and only having 1 car choice for more than a decade at a time I like the utility capability of them and do use them as such. No complaints whatsoever. Ok, maybe oil leaks.

yeah...I never understood people wanting, much less *thinking* that "performance SUV tanks" are an actual real thing. It's a ridiculous trend. the worst bit about it is that this branding only exacerbates the cancer that is SUVs metastasizing all over the world's roads!

And we are the primary tumor. Sorry, every other country: we fucked you over with this
See above. They don't have to sell that many of them as they are a niche market. BMW got rid of the X5M base model and are only selling X5MC for '24. It's no different than someone buying some shiny tech toy for some ridiculous price. In the case of a performance SUV, it's 1-size-fits-most and you don't need another vehicle. Like I said in my initial post, I'm about due for my next car (SUV).
