what better norton or mcafee

I was just wondering what virus program do you guys prefer I've only used norton but thinking about looking at mcafee.
 
mcafee only makes crap. It would piss me off if anyone I knew installed mcafee on thier computer after I told them not to and then asked me to fix all the problems it caused.
 
I used to use mcafee, then I switched to norton and it found a few viruses that mcafee didn't catch - so I've stuck with norton ever since.
 
Norton is better then Mcafee however save your money and go AVG from here,why pay when you can get a good free one that also works great in WinXP as well.

Addressing the question, Norton by far. A couple of magazines have done across the board reviews in the last few months, and both recommended Norton. I also prefer the Norton interface.
