What benchmark should I get?

amd barton 2500+
pny geforce 6600gt

3dmark5 result is close to 1000

possible problem #1 - pc2100 512mb

possible problem #2 - 200watt psu.

the psu is fine. the memory may be a problem cuz it runs asynchron to the CPU fsb? Dunno, but 3dmark5 result should be higher.

i believe the fsb is 333mhz and the pc2100 is only at 266mhz.

the other thing is i got a message saying the video card performance is lower because of the psu

ermm, yes. good info i guess u did plug in all power cables correctly? maybe the 6600gt needs two connectors. Its just funny that the benchmarks actually still run, id expect a shutdown or whatever, when the psu is not strong enough. U can make sure with a different psu.

I dunno about AGP, but my PCI-E 6600GT doesn't require another power connector. It can draw enough power from the PCI-E slot.
