What bands do you listen to that none of your friends have heard of?

I love music but I get bored very easily, so I'm always hunting down new bands or obscure bands.

I'm sure many of you have heard of these bands, but *none* of my friends have. I've been listening to My Morning Jacket and The Kills lately. I've also been enjoying The National for a while.

I've only ever met two other people in all my life that listen to Tom Waits. I could count on both hands the number of people who listen to TMBG excluding the ones that vaguely know them from the tiny toons. I probably just hang out with the wrong people : (
