CorporateRecreation, you named Green Day on your hate list? Mind if I ask why? I would understand if you didn't like their newer music, but their old stuff is great, and I think they are quite an influential band that has some talent and is fun to listen to.

A few people listed Linkin Park... Awhh, does that hurt your ears too much? Why don't you actually listen to the lyrics, listen to the talent it take to produce that music. Do you turn away from a song as soon as you hear screaming of any sort?

You want reasons?

1) Green Day really just IS not talent. Im sorry, if you can write a song about masturbation with 3 chords and get it put on a record, THAT is talent. Green Day did nothing to influence music of today except bring up new bands that suck even worse like Blink 182. So yes, I agree that they brought a new change in music: sellout wannabe punk bands with catchy pop tunes.

2)Linkin Park also is not talent. Their music is not complicated, and thats what its all about. Okay, maybe their lyrics are good, but that pales in comparison to what music is supposed to be about: MUSIC. Any idiot with dreadlocks can pick up a guitar and sound like Korn. Any idiot can play an instrument.. To make GOOD music, you must have some sort of musical talent, instead of playing in the high registries of your guitar and searching for that deep enough distortion that no one can really tell that the music you are playing sucks. And no, dont assume that I dont like linkin park because of the screaming. Hell, I listen to some stuff that puts linkin park to shame in growl rock. Zao, for example, has screaming lyrics, BUT they have good music to back it up. They have more than just yelling, and THAT is the difference.

So there you have it.

Emos, I like alot of stuff, however, there just is not that much good music in todays world in the mainstream. Most of the music I like you probably would have never heard of. I do like a fair amount of stuff though, so dont think I just hate everything

Limp Bizkit has to be number one,i honestly would like to fight Fred Durst.
Staind:saw them live and they just flat out sucked,my grrlfriend was a fan until we went to see them...............
Eminem
Destuny's Child,Britney,Christina,NSync,BSB...any of this garbage.But hey kids will be kids.
Creed:hate them only slightly less than Limp Bizkit becuase the head singer challenged Fred to a boxing match...that earns a point with me
Kid Rock i sorta dislike...but not enough to say i hate him.
ICP!Gawd my friend is like the biggest ICP head,he buys the shirts the tapes the posters...i cannot for the life of me see what the draw of these guys are....they are idiots and flat out suck musically..

Dude, just because one of the bands you like is on my hate list doesnt mean you have to get all crappy. Sorry if Ive displeased you with my opinion, but its just that..MY opinion, if you dont like it, fine come up with something educated to say in defence, but that was just lame man..
