well, i don't know for sure, but they are called the fish of a 1000 casts. typically you need a boat, some fairly specialized gear (big ass lures, heavy gauge line, steel leaders) and know where they hang out.

plus, the legal size is typically 33 + inches in length.

There aren't many Muskies in a lake, esp big ones. They are smart fish with great memories, little ones are easy to catch but not big ones, they get old and big for a reason. they will follow your bait to the boat look at you and swim away. musky are at the top of the fish food chain, they are king of the water when there big.

if you want to go fishing for BIG fish you float out a kitten on a board with a string attached to the board. pull the string and all the splahing water from the cat will attract the fish. make sure your fishing hook is attached to the kitten cause it will get eaten😀
